We blew out, wore out the Muses over the holidays

blasting out stream of consciousness 10 line pomes

in hours long writing jags,

like a junky with an endless supply of junk,

I overdosed on creativity and word play,

I gave the Muses, all 9 of them,

a break

plus, my brain hurt,

I think I blew a few neurons up, too.
