Cruisers Diner...packed
elderly men and women
crowd booths and counter;
Veteran's framed pix
gaze down from along bulwark
Memorialized;
homage to those Served,
world wars, conflicts, skirmishes,
Cuisine Salutes YOU!
Basic board of fare, brekkie,
lunch, din', home-style cooking;
listen...local accents...
fill deliciously because...
only game in town -

coils towards celestial

traditional girls prep goods -

Metal hay baler
four Clydesdale pull 'round and 'round
female drives rig,
trailing wagon receives bales,
male geometrically stacks -

32/30: Shade of Past
Large, restored field mound,
mown outlines, square and circle
ages wiped earthworks
into surrounding plateau,
faint outlines all that remain -
