Northwest corner of state

opposite of Halloween jaunt,

to other end of, Berkshires,

where we turned right - east

and over the mountains

after traveling north

in an Autumn snow flurry,

whiteouts and turnuts,

S curves and blind corners,

this time, Grandma Moses

and other assorted art museums

at Williams, Clark, Colleges.

Room 16, "MOM, WE'RE HOE'OME-OH!" Das brings in snacks,

 CAT gets comfy, Das declares, "IT'S A PARTY NOW!"

early motor vacation road trips,

Most importantly...THE LOO!

Charming tub & shower with leopard print curtain.

tough to tell, fresh-ish paint,

almost new furniture,

it's a cot and a roof off the street,

inexpensive and family owned.

"WHO'S A REAL MAN NOW?!?" Obi Wan queeries, then, "Lookit that stained glassss!"

Soobie Roobie Scoobie, sexy like Obi Wan naked on white motel sheets.

college area downtown

eateries are few;

Thai and Japanese

Indian, pigtailed girl, clown,

no more choice than these;

Grocer of Whole Oats

organic, healthy, food stuffs...

overwhelming votes;

Back Road Trip Democracy

choice decided by three;

cold, grab 'n' go cube

drinks, grub,'sserts, 'cross to motel,

dine in room, watch tube;

wannabe Whole Food,

independent attitude,

Basket and Richfield,

fruit - veg organically peeled,

provided half decent food.
