Who does Food Insecurity affect?

The entire community,

if one family suffers, we all suffer.

Food Insecurity Trivia Tidbit,

in Massachusetts alone,

In 2022 1.8 million adults reported, experienced, Household Food Insecurity,

that's 33% of Mass Population, 1/3 of households,

to put it simply,

that's 3 in 9 households that experience Food Insecurity,

in every community, all walks of life, not only the cities and towns

perceived as "poor neighborhoods".

The BVUC 24/7 Food Pantry is, sadly, going gangbusters,

and it's in Andover, Massachusetts, a money town,

down route 28 in Reading, MA,

another well to do town,

Food Pantries are thriving;

what is wrong with this picture?

Side note, there are those in our communities who believe their community

doesn't need a food pantry or two or three or four, or more,

and this makes Food Security Work

not only a Mission from God, Allah, Buddha, Great Spirit, Abba, Yewah,

Jesus, Mohammad, Moses...

it is also,

an Act of Civil Disobedience

in Opposite Land U. S. A.

All you Direct Action Activist Types,

put down the protest signs and slogans and dialogues and empty promises,

and actually take Direct Action,

Stick it to The Man,

get involved in your local community food pantries, hubs, and banks.

BVUC is also clothing people with Clothing Drives,

another Direct Action,

clothes are directly donated to BVUC,

BVUC Volunteers take direct action and

directly load their personal vehicles to

drive the donated clothing directly to

the Methodist Economic Mission in Strong, ME;

BVUC Food Pantries and Clothing Drives,

Direct Actions that are measurable and results are witnessed right away,

instant gratification is the American Way,

governmental middle people are cut out of the equation completely

and there's no hemming, hawing and wringing of hands.
