wait is totally worth it,

size is misleading

looks big but bowl shaped,

tall, puffy, crisp, toasty crust,

drapes nooks, crannies, and bubbles,

fresh strawberry, dipped

in warm strawberry syrup

drizzled with lemon...YUM-EE!

Thick slice, crisp bacon,

crispy homemade corned beef hash,

Swedish Pancake...crepes...

london berry with

real maple syrup, butter,

squeezed OJ and joe,

powers up for adventure,

I can't believe I ate the whole thing!

squeeze behind wheel and head off,

Niagara Falls,

New York American side

park all day to stroll

Goat, 3 Sis' Isles,

Niagara and Horseshoe

revamped landscape

asphalt pathways 'round

river shoreline, bridges cross

small fedder rapids,

spill to larger chaos at

drops edge...seagulls sit on rock;

trail continues to

overlooks of waters work,

erosian goes on;

petrified lava

hardness withstands rivers flow,

islands survive, in

time Sisters, too, will erode,

water dissolves ev'rything;

wander with ponchos

ready for Maid of Mist Ride

quite wet we will get.

Niagara Gets Me Wet

Maid of Mist boat ride

to falls foot, into the rain

of falling water

25 dollars,

complimentary poncho

sea of pink plastic

Observation Deck

views all the boating action

from high above docks,

Canadians run their trips

from other side of river;

Obi Wan dons large

bright, yellow, poncho with hood,

DaS, green rain jacket;

braving elements

duo finds upper deck spot

first trip of the day,

all elec' craft gently rocks,

reigning mist soaks specs' and lens;

20 minutes later...

drip up to Crows Nest viewpoint

for another soak -

all electric power, charges in 15 minutes.

Sacred Mystic Waters

Wander long way back to

Incognito Burrito

shoes squish, pants damp,

look into Canadian N. Falls,

casinos and brightly lit streets,

a ferris wheel entices

"Cross over on Rainbow Bridge..."

Duo have no passports or

vaccinations, plus, getting

back into the U. S, won't be

easy; enjoy sights of America,

eye candy, all over the place;

Amish Tour Buggy disgorged

passengers, families blend

with Hindi and Muslim, Nikes

on the feet, traditional garb

cover bodies, wildflowers in

bloom decorate shoreline.

Take fill of pix, drip dry to

car and head home to shower

and shave for dinner,

journal blessed.

from Falls chill waters;

off to record store,

remaster features...DOG FOOD!
