Blossom Hill Cemetery,
cruise acres expanse
bells chiming High Noon,
photograph statuary
and crucifixes;
white cloud puffs, blue sky,
smoke rises in front of lens,
low tech effect trick,
shrouded saints, angels, and urns,
Star of David next to Cross;
covered bridge etching,
girls face bas relief carving
in memoriam;
lanes twist 'round hillsides,
snap away from drivers seat,
minding way ahead,
avoid tumble down landscape,
splash in Meditation Pool;
Arboretum Park,
Boot HIlls Sculpture Garden with...

Bridging Progress
Hooksetts Lilac Bridge
spans Merrimac ridge to ridge,
not original,
which was damaged and dismal,
Tributes smaller by a smidge;
Covered halfway to trestle,
to accommodate vessel
down on Merrimac,
sister to B & M track,
'til replacement rang death knell;
Railroad bridge dislodged
floodwaters took with, hodge-podged,
brother slammed sibling,
crashed at point where rust was nibbling,
unused, disaster was dodged;
Lilac, name quite gay,
pedestrian, bike thruway,
no flowers in sight,
bridge duo view with delight,
clouds reflect in light of day;
and, it's safer than crossing on the road!

Money's on, Hungarian Home Run

Walk across lil bridge,
photograph from ridge to ridge,
not original,
new homes, not dismal,
station house reno'd a smidge;
Rusting rail trestle
speed boats are only vessel
down on bowing Merrimac,
under wood, tar, track,
church bells ring out rebirth knell;
Grief over spans death dislodged
sculpture park hodge-podged
Vet Memorial sibling
at sadness nibbling,
constant mourning dodged;
Lilac, once more youthful, gay,
romantic strollway,
no security in sight...
submarine race the delight,
which fish wins today?

Aaah! That was refreshing! Let us have rest on this

foodstuff purveyor;
2 French Onion Soups,
1 Flatbread 'za, skins, wings,
and Seafood Triune;
sports pix, black & whites,
of '60's Celtics First Line,
4 Coloured Players,
and, smiling from ear to ear,
honored, proud, 1 Caucasian;
Hard Cider, Coffee,
T'Bone, Obi Wan, chow down,
head out on highway;
CD's constant tune
at, Ultra Base Think Tank soon,
UPLOAD road trip pix
follow river, getting kicks,
along valley of the moon;
shower, shave, chillax,
return to world attitude,
