steepled, colonial church,

gravestone rows side yard;

path down shady hill

flat tomb stones inscribed,

Robert Lee Frost, with

Poet's birth-death days,

alongside wife afterlife,

resting peacefully;

respectful fans pay respects

until Collective remnants...

"HEY-AY, BOBBY!" "WE"RE HERE!" "Ooh, yah."

Loud, brash, keys rattling,

stomping along, snap fun photos,

arrows point the way...

three sit on grave bench

in birch, pine, oak, sapling grove

next to CAT's fave Pote,

spark sploogie, take selfies,

laugh, joke, so...DISRESPECTFUL!

we're here, we're queer,

21st century potes!

Why not visit site?

Open to Public,

no security checkpoint,

donation bucket;

picked up at burial plot,

sign states, 'Don't Leave Stuff'

rock appears to be

chip off cheap tombstone nearby,

pocket souvenir;

wander marked boot hill,

book, boulder, marble statue,

CAT, Das, admire;

snap random landscape art pix,

can't leave things, might as well take;

winter dead icebox

black iron door grows ivy

fresh paint against green;

long ago body

storage transformed to garden

shed, hose, mower, scythe,

play part of newly deceased,

CAT-DIESEL cuts frozen graves.

Church sexton licensed

to operate equipment

but, no vacancies.

Comfort Food Critique

Enough honoring,

remembering the dead past!

Let's go get...ICE CREAM!

OK, Gelato,

but, it's a no go downtown

district Williamstown;

hit up Wild Oats,

scan frozen treats from sheep, goats,

coconut and soy,

lactose free for girl and boy,

to tantalize buds and throats,

but, first...BURRITO!

At, Avocado Pit joint,

Chipoltle knock off;

well balanced lunch-snack

in wrap and bowl hits the spot,

recharged to motor

homeward for non-dairy sweets,

listen to Radio Das;

mint chip oat milk pint

split 'tween trio, taste oats milk,

mint and choco' chips.
